2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee: Meeting 1
The U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA) announced the appointment of 20 nationally recognized experts in food and nutrition to serve on the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (Committee). This is the first of six virtual meetings that are open to the public.
The meeting will include the following:
- A review of operations for the Committee members;
- Overview of the proposed scientific questions identified by the Departments to be examined by the Committee;
- Presentations on the evidence-based approaches for reviewing the scientific evidence;
- Plans for future Committee work.
