General Information

As part of this year's recognition of excellent science and the many people that contribute to the NIH mission, the NINDS Hispanic or Latin/a/o/e/x Ambassadors and Allies (HOLA-NINDS), in partnership with NINDS Leadership, and the NIH Neuroscience Seminar Series, will be hosting the Inaugural Hispanic Heritage Month NIH Neuroscience Symposium  (HHM-N2S) taking place from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday September 30We will have welcome remarks by Senior Leadership and HOLA-NINDS Board Members, a Keynote Speaker, and more talks and a poster session. Light refreshments will be served. We invite you to participate in the potluck, partially sponsored by FAES. You are encouraged to bring your best Hispanic dish to share. Signup details in registration.

The main event will take place at The Porter Neuroscience Research Center (Building 35), with a satellite viewing via videocast at NSC.  

Teleworking staff will be able to join via NIH Videocast.

This event is organized by the Employee Resource Group HOLA-NINDS, and focused on recognizing our Hispanic/Latinx community members during the annual monthly celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15).
